Review what is deleted and what is retained before continuing. You can delete your account here without installing the app.

Deletion applies to the signed-in Guest or Host account. A separate Guest or Host account using the same email is not deleted. Uninstalling the app does not delete an account.

Data deleted from your active account

Sign-in credentials, authentication sessions, recovery grants and verification tokens. You can no longer sign in to this account.
Your profile name, contact phone, contact email, hosting preferences and profile-photo reference. Removal of the stored profile photo is also requested.
Saved stays and saved search preferences.
In-app notifications, notification preferences and push-device registrations.

Records retained after deletion

Booking and transaction history, payments, refunds, payouts, commissions and invoices for accounting, reconciliation and disputes.
Messages, support cases, identity-review evidence and security or audit records for safety, fraud prevention and dispute handling.
An internal deleted-account record and historical ownership identifiers, including the original account email, that link retained records. These do not allow you to sign in.
Host property records and listing drafts are retained; listing drafts are archived rather than erased.

Deletion timing and retention

Eligible self-service deletion takes effect when the server confirms success. It requires no administrator approval. You are signed out and cannot sign in to the deleted account again.

Retained records currently have no automatic expiry or scheduled deletion. Their retention depends on the accounting, legal, safety or dispute purpose. Contact info@shamstaybnb.com to request a review of specific retained data and its retention basis.

Email requests require an ownership check. Support will confirm the expected processing time and any outstanding steps; sending an email does not immediately delete the account.

Before you delete

Complete or cancel active bookings and resolve unpaid balances, pending payments, refunds, payouts, host commission or invoices, open support cases and staff access before deletion. Deletion does not settle these items for you.

In the app: Account → Account settings → Delete account. Review the data, acknowledge permanent deletion, and type DELETE to confirm.

Delete your Shamstay BnB account

Sign in to the Guest or Host account you want to delete.
Review this notice and resolve any outstanding items.
Acknowledge permanent deletion, then type DELETE in the confirmation dialog.

Can’t sign in?

Email a deletion request from your registered address and specify Guest or Host. If you cannot access that email, tell us so we can verify ownership. Do not send passwords, payment details or identity-document images.
