Overview

Discover Wadi al-Nasara

Wadi al-Nasara, the Valley of the Christians, is a string of green hillside villages between Homs and the coast, with Marmarita and Mishtaya among the best known. In summer, families return from the cities and abroad, and the valley fills with cafés, gatherings and long evenings outdoors.

Above it all stands Krak des Chevaliers, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the world, which makes the valley the natural place to stay if you want to see the castle early in the morning or at sunset.
