About us
Hospitality, the Sham way
ShamStay BnB is a booking platform for stays across Syria. We connect travellers with reviewed homes and the local hosts who run them, and we keep each step of a booking clear and recorded.
What we do
A trusted way to stay in Syria
Syria has some of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, a long tradition of welcoming guests and a growing number of people opening their homes to visitors. ShamStay brings those homes together in one place, so travellers can compare real stays, understand exactly what they are booking and arrive with confidence.
For Hosts, ShamStay offers a careful path to welcoming guests: identity and property review before publication, tools to manage availability, pricing and booking requests, and a transparent commission that is fixed when each booking is made.
Our role
A platform connecting guests and hosts
Hosts provide and operate their accommodation. ShamStay provides discovery, booking, messaging and payment-record tools. Hosts are responsible for accurate listings, availability, permission to host and the accommodation they offer.
Identity approval and listing review describe specific checks; they do not guarantee safety, suitability or an uninterrupted stay. Read what verification means, how guest reviews work, and the responsibilities in our terms.
For questions before booking or help accessing your account, contact ShamStay. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
What we stand for
Built on trust and clarity
Reviewed hosts and homes
Every Host passes an identity and Host-application review, and every property is reviewed separately before it can appear in search.
Know the location before booking
Explore stays by area, then view and share the Host-supplied address and exact map pin on the property page before booking.
Clear prices in Syrian pounds
Checkout itemises every charge and shows the total in SYP before you send a booking request.
Local hospitality
Stays are offered by the people who own or manage them, from courtyard houses in the old cities to mountain and coastal homes.
English and Arabic
Browse, book and host in English or Arabic, with listings and booking details available in both languages where Hosts provide them.
Support you can track
Signed-in support requests create a case on your account so you can follow its progress. The Contact page also lists an email route for people who cannot sign in.
